You have Questions, We have Answers!

What is foiling, and how does it work?

Foiling is like flying above the water! A hydrofoil, which is like an underwater wing, is attached to the bottom of your board. As you gain speed, the hydrofoil lifts the board out of the water, giving you a smooth, silent, and almost magical ride.

Do I need to be an experienced surfer or windsurfer to try foiling?

Not at all! While some watersports experience can be helpful, it's definitely not required. Our lessons are designed for all skill levels, including complete beginners. We'll teach you everything you need to know to get started safely and confidently.

Is foiling difficult to learn?

Like any new sport, it takes a little practice, but it's easier than you might think! Our experience and method will break down the basics and guide you through each step. Most people are up and riding within their first lesson, especially with the E-foil.

How long are the lessons, and how much do they cost?

Our lessons are typically 2 hours long. Pricing varies depending on the type of foiling and whether you choose a private or group lesson. With 2 or 3 sessions you can start to go on by yourself in the best case scenario.

What if I don't have my own equipment and want to continue practicing?

No problem at all! We have a full range of top-quality foiling gear available for rent if you don't have your own or prefer to use ours.

What should I wear and bring to my foiling lesson?

We recommend bringing comfortable water clothing/wetsuit/thermal layer/ water shoes etc. We'll provide all the necessary foiling equipment, including the board, foil, and safety gear like a life jacket. Don't forget sunscreen, a hat, and water to stay hydrated.

What are the age requirements for foiling?

Generally, participants should be at least 10 years old and able to swim comfortably. There is no upper age limit.

What is the season for wing foiling?

In Florida, the best wind foiling season starts late Sep/Oct to May, even though e-foling, doc start and SUP foil are year-round options
